The Shalford Repair Cafe will be operating every 2nd Saturday in the month, and is based in the Shalford Village Upper Hall, on King's Road, Shalford. Volunteers are not expected to be available every session, but we will ask you to let us know when you can (or can't) attend. Your details Your name * Your email * Phone number * Your technical skills Please indicate below any types of repair you would feel comfortable attempting. Part of our aim is to help people learn how to fix broken items, and so we will help you learn new skills and build on your existing ones. Bicycles Carpentry/Furniture Electrical Items (toasters, kettles, etc.) Electronics (computers, audio etc.) Sewing/Soft toys etc. Tools Front of House & other roles As well as the volunteers doing technical repairs, there are lots of jobs either behind the scenes, or in "front-of-house" roles, e.g. helping to book in people with their broken items, helping them find the right fixer, making & serving refreshments, or doing background computer-based tasks such as updating the website, preparing posters and so on. If you can help with any of these we'd love to hear from you.
